Winter

Wintertime is so nice and romantic that it makes me wanna throw up.
I hope that one day there will be a possibility for all the people who like snow and cold weather to take it to their homes and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.
Give me sun, give me T shirt and shorts, give me green hills and even fukking mosquitos.

  1. Interesting....I just wrote a comment on something that Matt wrote about enjoying the four seasons (No, not Frankie Valli) but wishing winter only lasted 30 days. The ice here is so shoved and thick that I can't even get out on it to fish, let alone drill a hole. The best part of winter? Opening the door and going inside on a frigid snowy day (like today) and having the heavy heat from the wood stove wash over you like a warm wave.

    1. So.... you guys are too old to deal with cold weather?

  2. Wise enough to realize that it is not as much fun as it used to be, but able to deal with it quite well actually.

    1. We may get another foot on Sunday night. I'm ok with it. The traffic around here sucks... mostly due to imports, but the local morons don't help.

      Bring it on baby!

      And leave my ass alone.

    2. the cold makes it dimple up nicely. And you only like it because you don't have to shovel it or plow it. My woodpile is shrinking.

    3. I miss shoveling. Although I did shovel a bit after the last storm.

    4. I only wish that George had opportunity to experience life of german WWII prisoners in russian gulags. There was snow, lot of shoveling, interesting people, there was never boring....in short- they had all that he craves for.

    5. I've never been a prisoner. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like being a prisoner even if there was warm weather and no snow.

    6. I'd hate to have another foot.

  4. We haven't had any proper snow at all. So, it's been staying-in cold, grey, overcast, dull, with few hours of daylight. This is because I bought snowspikes for my boots two years ago and I've been gagging to wear them. Just my luck! No snowball fights, no snow lanterns. No complete strangers talking to each other in the street complaining about the snow, and motorists getting caught out on the hill without snowchains.

You people grumble, but you don't know you're born!
